Optional Bilstein 11-344841 37-Inch Tire / Heavy-Load Kit

  • 37-inch tires without substantial added weight: one jounce spacer is installed at every corner; no spring-seat adapters are used. The jounce spacers limit upward travel to help prevent the tires from contacting the metal fenders.
  • Added constant weight and ride-height loss: one or two identical 10 mm spring-seat adapters may be installed per affected corner. Around 200 lb generally uses one adapter and around 400 lb generally uses two; the correct choice also depends on where the weight is located.
  • A jounce spacer is required on every corner that uses a spring-seat adapter.
  • One conversion kit is shared across the front and rear assemblies and is installed during assembly rather than shipped as a separate box.

Review the Bilstein 11-344841 installation instructions.

  • Choose desired circlip positions before installation to target your lift within the stated ranges
  • NOTE: In order to properly align vehicle, aftermarket upper control arms are recommended for lift height settings greater than 2.5”

I have a 4 door Badlands Bronco (Non-SaS) with the 2.3lt engine. I want to run 35" tires for now with the ability to fit 37" later when my rig becomes a more dedicated off-roader. I wasn't clear on the exact lift this system provides to a badlands bronco that is already taller than other the base. It says 2.8/1.7 in the description, but I think that is for a Base Bronco, not Badlands. Do you know the lift this system provides to a Badlands (non-sas) Bronco? Will it clear 37s?

A For a 4-door Badlands non-Sasquatch 2.3L, the advertised 2.8" front / 1.7" rear numbers are not what you should expect. Those are maximum lift figures relative to lower-trim Broncos, and actual lift depends heavily on the Bronco's starting ride height and spring rates. Owners and installers consistently report that a non-Sas Badlands starts higher than a Base or Big Bend, so the net gain is less

Q If installing on 2023 2dr Badlands SAS, at clip 6 F and R, will new control arms be required?
A When installing Bilstein 6112 assembled coilovers on a 2023 2-door Ford Bronco Badlands with the Sasquatch package, and setting the circlip on position 6. Yes, upgraded UCAs are strongly recommended at clip 6. At 2.8″ of front lift, the stock UCAs may: Cause limited suspension travel Bind at full droop Result in poor alignment specs (especially caster)
