Synergy Heavy Duty Front Tie Rod for 2011-2013 Ram 1500/2500/3500

The Synergy Heavy Duty Tie Rod is a larger and stronger, bolt-on replacement for the stock tie rod. No drilling or reaming of the knuckles is required. It uses the updated factory T-style steering design to eliminate toe-change caused by Y-style steering. Using the factory T-style steering design also results in no induced bump steer inherent with most aftermarket “cross over” steering kits. The Tie Rod also uses a single plane low misalignment Tie Rod End to prevent unwanted Tie Rod “flop” which results in a dead spot in the steering when changing direction. The Tie Rod is designed to be used with the Synergy heavy duty Drag Link (8567-11), the Synergy steering stabilizer clamp (8568-10), and the Synergy tuned IFP steering stabilizerSynergy Fox Performance 2.0 IFP Steering Stabilizer Front for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-18, JL 2018+, Gladiator JT 2020+). This tie rod can also work with stock or aftermarket steering stabilizers using a 1/2″ mounting bolt with the Synergy clamp.

• Warning: 2013 Dodge Ram 3500’s were a split year for production. The early model trucks use the T-style steering (drag link is attached to the Tie Rod), Synergy Part # Synergy Heavy Duty Front Steering Kit Dual Bracket w/ Stabilizers & Clamps for 2003-2013 Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500. The late model trucks use cross over steering (Drag link is attached to the knuckle and does not attach to the Tie Rod), Synergy Part # 8725-01. Please check what style you have before ordering.

  • If upgrading to the new single plane tie rod end on older model tie rods that include the metal caps, the opposing tie rod end will require a new Synergy HD Replacement Tie Rod End Boot Front for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK
  • If the cotter pin does not engage the castle nut upon install, a washer is required; Washer may not be required on all knuckles depending on casting differences and wear
• Synergy High Performance Grease recommended (4119) to be used with all Tie Rod Ends
