OME Rear Greaseable Shackles (No Lift) for Toyota Tacoma rear leaf spring applications

Part: OMEGS12

OME greasable shackles and pins for leaf spring bushes make the messy and time consuming task of bush lubrication fast and easy. By greasing the shackle pin, friction is reduced, helping improve bush life.

Bushing selection: This shackle kit does not include bushings. Select the bushing add-on by the rear leaf spring part number:

  • Old OME CS046RA / CS046RB springs: use 2xOMESB89. With OMEGS12 greasable shackles, install the yellow bushings only and do not install the sleeves included in OMESB89.
  • Current OME EL122RA / EL122RB springs: use 2xOMESB121.

CS046R by itself is not a complete spring part number; the old springs are side-specific CS046RA and CS046RB.

  • Unique, easy bolt-together assembly eliminates out-of-angle shackle pin to side plate problems commonly associated with press-fit assemblies
  • Each pin has two grease outlet holes to provide grease coverage between the shackle pin and the spring bush
  • Heat-treated pins help ensure long pin life under heavy loads and off-road conditions
  • Side plates are zinc plated for protection against corrosion
  • Complete kit includes a pair of shackles and greasable bolts
  • Kit does not lift the vehicle

      A Bushing note: This shackle kit does not include bushings. For OMEGS12 greasable shackles, use ARB OMESB88 OME Rear Leaf Spring Bushing Kit for OMEGS12 1998-2004 Toyota Tacoma. For older OME CS046RA/B springs, OMESB88 is the correct bushing at the greasable shackle end; OMESB121 should not be used for that older-spring/OMEGS12 combination. OE rubber bushings are used at the fixed end of the spring.
      3. I'm a bit confused as to what these actually will and will not fit. Description says they fit 95-04 Tacoma but only fit with the CSO46R Springs. However, the CSO46R Springs only fits 98-04 Tacoma. What gives? I'm ultimately looking for shackles for the CSO19R on a 97 Tacoma.

      A The spring (CSO46R Springs) has smaller eyelets than the OEM Tacoma springs, I believe these will work still. I'm in no way a pro but the only issue id see is if you had CSO46R Springs and you were trying to reuse bushings, otherwise the shackles should fit the same.

    • Select by rear leaf spring part number. Old OME CS046RA/CS046RB springs use 2xOMESB89; with OMEGS12 install the bushings only and do not use the OMESB89 sleeves. Current OME EL122RA/EL122RB springs use 2xOMESB121.
