IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: The provided tire/wheel fitments are approximate.

Actual dimensions of a given tire size can vary considerably from one brand to another.

Manufacturers’ wheel offset and backspacing measurement points are not always consistent.

Backspacing greatly impacts tire-to-fender clearance when turning.

Wheel width and backspacing influence whether the tires protrude past the fenders, and to what extent.

Considering these important factors, we recommend that you fit-check your tire/wheel selection prior to purchasing.

Installation Notes

Superunner steering must not be used on lifts in excess of 6″.

Product Overview

New pre-set coil springs provide 4″ of front lift; lift blocks raise the rear. A replacement pitman arm relieves drag link angle.

Axle pivot brackets, laser-cut from .25″ steel plate, lower the inboard ends of the axle beams and restore camber. New camber alignment bushings, available from your local alignment shop, may be required to precisely “dial-in” camber angle; this need varies from one vehicle to the next. /p>

There are two methods for correcting caster angle. Our Standard kit features cast brackets that lower the factory radius arms at their frame (rear) end attaching points, while our Superunner kit features replacement tubular radius arms.

Both Standard and Superunner kits include 2 front and 2 rear Superide shocks. If the vehicle is factory-equipped with auxiliary (dual) front shocks, also order quantity two part number 85280 Superide shocks.

The optional Superunner Steering System conversion is recommended for optimal driveability. Other options include Poly radius arm bushings (included in Superunner lift kits), and steering stabilizers. Our front sway bar relocation kit is suggested if full suspension articulation is desired.

Installation Notes

Factory rear overload springs cannot be retained if replacement rear springs are used.

Dually applications may require different u-bolts.

If vehicle is equipped with top mount overload springs a different rear u-bolt kit is required that is 2″ longer than supplied in lift system; for 2.5″ rear block order pt # 11674 or 5″ rear block kit order pt #11694.

NOTE: If equipped with a two-piece driveshaft, also order carrier bearing drop bracket part number 9649.

NOTE: If the vehicle is equipped with rear top mount overload springs a longer rear u-bolt kit, part number 11674, is required.

Installation Instructions

Product Overview

The 4″ lift for the Jeep Wrangler JK sets the standard for performance both on road and off. Pre-set replacement coil springs minimize settling, provide exceptional ride quality and the rear coils are rate specific for 2 or 4 door models. Track bar angle increases as the vehicle is raised, and bar length becomes a real issue when lift height exceeds 2.5″. The resulting track bar bind causes the chassis and axle to continuously “tug” against one another, resulting in uneven ride height (side-to-side), chassis / frame misalignment and unwanted “roll and yaw”. Front track bar correction is accomplished via a new REFLEX adjustable track bar. This route is preferred over using a relocation bracket because the bar’s arc of travel must remain in sync with the drag link’s arc of travel; if they get out of sync, steering wheel “kick” will result. A track bar relocation bracket is used at the rear axle since there are no steering geometry issues to contend with. Compression travel is controlled via unique machined aluminum receiver cups in the front and replacement closed-cell foam dampeners in the rear. New front axle alignment cams, extended length sway bar links with factory style, tie-rod type upper ends, front / rear brake hose relocation brackets and emergency brake cable brackets are also included. Nothing is left unattended with this “base” kit and it is packaged complete with Superide, Superide SS Series by Bilstein or FOX Shocks.

Options include: front and rear REFLEX Control Arms, longer fixed-length lower link arms, front sway bar quick disconnects, rear REFLEX adjustable track bar, and factory replacement, high-clearance single or high-clearance dual steering stabilizers. Each stabilizer design is available with Superlift Superide or SS series cylinders by Bilstein.
