Tire and Wheel Info

33 x 12.50″ tire on 8″ wheel with 3.75″ backspacing

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: The provided tire/wheel fitments are approximate.

Actual dimensions of a given tire size can vary considerably from one brand to another.

Manufacturers’ wheel offset and backspacing measurement points are not always consistent.

Backspacing greatly impacts tire-to-fender clearance when turning.

Wheel width and backspacing influence whether the tires protrude past the fenders, and to what extent.

Considering these important factors, we recommend that you fit-check your tire/wheel selection prior to purchasing.

Installation Notes

Brake line / hose relocating hardware included in kit box.

Requires new wheels with backspacing of 3.25″ min. / 3.75″ max.

Product Overview

Like most IFS trucks, the Toyota uses upper and lower control arms supported by torsion bars. What makes the Toyota IFS suspension unique is that the torsion bars run along the top of the frame rails and connect to the upper control arms which means the torsion bars cannot be relocated.

Front lift is achieved by lowering the lower control arms via one-piece crossmember assemblies. Since the upper control arms must remain in their factory location, new precision cast knuckles bridge the increased distance between the upper and lower control arms. The front differential housing is lowered to keep CV axle angles in check, sway bar relocation brackets, bump stop extensions, brake hose and E-brake relocations brackets are also provided.

The kit is packaged complete with Superlift Superide shocks.

Optional lower crossmember-to-frame braces, and front skidplate are available.

Optional extended length brake hoses recommended.

Although not desirable, it is acceptable to omit pitman arm for a budget kit. Pitman arm required for Superunner steering.

Standard shock is behind axle, auxiliary shock is in front of axle.

Superunner steering must not be used on lifts in excess of 6″.

Product Overview

New pre-set coil springs provide 6″ of front lift; lift blocks raise the rear. A replacement pitman arm relieves drag link angle. Sway bar relocation brackets are included.

Axle pivot brackets, laser-cut from .25″ steel plate, lower the inboard ends of the axle beams and restore camber. New camber alignment bushings, available from your local alignment shop, may be required to precisely “dial-in” camber angle; this need varies from one vehicle to the next./p>

There are two methods for correcting caster angle. Our Standard kit features cast brackets that lower the factory radius arms at their frame (rear) end attaching points, while our Superunner kit features replacement tubular radius arms.

Both Standard and Superunner kits include 2 front and 2 rear Superide shocks. If the vehicle is factory-equipped with auxiliary (dual) front shocks, also order quantity two part number 85380 Superide shocks.

The optional Superunner Steering System conversion is recommended for optimal driveability. Other options include Poly radius arm bushings (included in Superunner lift kits), and steering stabilizers.
