Tire and Wheel Info

35×12.50 tire on standard offset wheel

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: The provided tire/wheel fitments are approximate.

Actual dimensions of a given tire size can vary considerably from one brand to another.

Manufacturers’ wheel offset and backspacing measurement points are not always consistent.

Backspacing greatly impacts tire-to-fender clearance when turning.

Wheel width and backspacing influence whether the tires protrude past the fenders, and to what extent.

Considering these important factors, we recommend that you fit-check your tire/wheel selection prior to purchasing.

Installation Notes

1977.5-91 models require clearancing (machining) of the front driveshaft CV cluster to prevent binding. If vehicle has single exhaust, the cross-over pipe requires modification to clear front driveshaft.

Brake line / hose relocating hardware included in kit box.

Installation Notes

A small percentage of Jeeps with 4″ of lift (except Rubicon model) will require a Slip Yoke Eliminator (SLE) kit to reduce driveshaft angle / driveline vibration; this cannot be determined until the lift is installed, and the Jeep road tested. A SLE kit is required with lifts over 4″ (except Rubicon model).

Slip Yoke Eliminator (SLE) kit also requires a new, CV type rear driveshaft. Superlift does not offer these driveshafts due to the multitude of possible driveline configuration. Rubicon models do not require a SLE (they are factory equipped with a fixed-yoke), but Rubicon’s with 6″ of lift will require a CV type rear driveshaft. Contact your local driveshaft supplier or one of the national drivetrain specialists.

Product Overview

The Superlift 4″ lift for the Jeep Wrangler TJ platform covers all the bases. Lift is achieved via coil springs that are pre-set (fully compressed and stressed) during the manufacturing process to minimize settling.

The system also includes front and rear anti-sway bar links, a rear track bar extension bracket, longer bump stop extensions, front and rear lower control arms, a transfer case lowering kit and Superlift Superide or Superide SS shocks by Bilstien.

Options include front and rear adjustable track bars, Rockrunner swivel-link control arms and quick-disconnect sway bar links. A steering stabilizer and eXtreme Ring differential protectors are available as well.

Product Overview

This family of vehicles features a two-piece front axle with leaf springs. Lifting involves new front leafs and brackets to relocate the axles beams where they attach to the truck’s frame. The axle brackets restore camber angle, although new camber alignment bushings (available from your local alignment shop) may be required to precisely “dial-in” camber angle; this need varies from one vehicle to the next. Superlift’s axle brackets are laser-cut from .25″ steel, and cross-braced for additional strength.

A replacement pitman arm reduces drag link angle. Front and rear Superide shocks complete the package.

The optional Superunner Steering System conversion is recommended for optimal driveability. Our extended front and rear sway bar links are suggested if full suspension articulation is desired.

Installation Instructions

Product Overview

New pre-set coil springs provide 4″ of front lift; lift blocks raise the rear. A replacement pitman arm relieves drag link angle.

Axle pivot brackets, laser-cut from .25″ steel plate, lower the inboard ends of the axle beams and restore camber. New camber alignment bushings, available from your local alignment shop, may be required to precisely “dial-in” camber angle; this need varies from one vehicle to the next. /p>

There are two methods for correcting caster angle. Our Standard kit features cast brackets that lower the factory radius arms at their frame (rear) end attaching points, while our Superunner kit features replacement tubular radius arms.

Both Standard and Superunner kits include 2 front and 2 rear Superide shocks. If the vehicle is factory-equipped with auxiliary (dual) front shocks, also order quantity two part number 85280 Superide shocks.

The optional Superunner Steering System conversion is recommended for optimal driveability. Other options include Poly radius arm bushings (included in Superunner lift kits), and steering stabilizers. Our front sway bar relocation kit is suggested if full suspension articulation is desired.
