Bilstein B8 5100 ride-height adjustable shocks are one of the most popular upgrades for 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma owners. Designed for trucks with a front coilover-style suspension, these shocks improve handling, increase wheel travel, and allow you to level the front of your Tacoma without replacing the factory springs.

Multiple snap-ring grooves let you position the spring seat to achieve between 0 and 2 inches of front lift (exact lift depends on trim and weight). Built around Bilstein’s proven 46mm monotube design, these shocks deliver strong on-road control and much better off-road stability compared to OE struts.

    • UCA;s are designed with added caster to aid in retaining factory alignment specs when aftermarket lift kits are installed.  This reduces the darting or wandering in the vehicle’s steering when 2.5″-3″ lift kits are installed.
    • CNC machined tapered spindle adapters convert the factory ball joint to a 1″ uniball for added component strength and maximum wheel travel.
    • Total Chaos includes 1″ I.D. uniballs that feature a heat treated stainless steel ball and heat treated stainless race for maximum corrosion resistance and component longevity.  These uniball’s also feature a military grade PTFE woven fabric liner that helps prevent noise.
    • Upper control arms combined with extended length coil over shocks will allow for up to 2″ of addtional wheel travel

Q. What size tires can I run with the 3″ lift kit?
We have not tested every wheel/tire size on these trucks, but 285/65/18, 285/65/20, and 305/55/20 tires have been used. We do not guarantee tire/wheel fitment due to variations between different wheel and tire manufacturers specs. We recommend “Test fitting” any aftermarket tire or wheel you are considering.
