ICON 0-2.63″ Lift Stage 2 Suspension System for 2014 Ford F-150 4WD

Part: K93062

OVERVIEW:

ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2014 Ford F150 suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road. The Stage 2 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5” coilover shocks featuring an internal reservoir for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered Eibach coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 0-2.63” allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. Tubular upper control arms on the F150 not only add strength and durability, but help retain factory alignment spec range increasing caster over stock. ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series monotube rear shocks utilize a vehicle-specific valving that balances the performance of the truck from front to rear. The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2014 F150 4WD Stage 2 suspension system is an excellent choice for those drivers looking to enhance the capabilities of their pickup on the road as well as in the dirt.

This system features upper control arms with ICON’s patent pending Delta Joint. The Delta Joint is a heavy duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball. While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application – exposure to the elements. The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greasable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation. What makes the Delta Joint unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.

Long Travel Bilstein 5100 Rear Shocks for 1996 – 2002 Toyota 4Runner

Part: 9602E703
Includes: 2 shocks (Qty 2 of Bilstein 33-313146, formerly 33-187174)

These Bilstein 5100 long-travel rear shocks are tuned for 3rd Gen Toyota 4Runners running extended-travel rear suspension setups. They deliver longer droop, improved off-road control, and the durability expected from Bilstein’s monotube design. These shocks must be paired with properly sized long-travel rear coils to maintain correct spring seating and prevent coil ejection at full articulation.

Shock Specifications

  • Extended Length: 23.5″
  • Compressed Length: 14.91″
  • Rod Diameter: 1.81″
  • Upper Mount Style: Stem
  • Lower Mount Style: Eyelet

Fitment Notes (Important)

Coil Spring Requirements

These shocks must be used with **2.5 inch to 4 inch long-travel rear coil springs**.

If you run shocks this long on coils that are too short, your 4Runner can spit a spring at full droop. To prevent this, you must:

  • Confirm your rear coils provide adequate free length
  • Hard-mount your internal spring bump stops
  • Ensure springs are seated properly on the axle perches
  • Extend or adjust axle bump stops if needed

Brake Line and Safety Requirements

A longer rear brake line is required with these shocks.

After installation, always cycle the suspension fully (compression and droop) to verify clearances and ensure that ABS lines, brake lines, and shocks are not reaching full stretch.

Why Choose These Bilstein 5100 Long-Travel Shocks?

  • Increased droop for better traction and articulation
  • Bilstein monotube performance for stability and heat control
  • Proven performance on lifted and off-road 3rd Gen 4Runners
  • Excellent upgrade when paired with long-travel coils and extended brake lines

Frequently Asked Questions

Do these shocks require long-travel coils?
Yes. Use coils at least 2.5 – 4 inches tall to prevent coil unseating at full droop.

Do I need a longer brake line?
Yes. These shocks require a longer rear brake line.

Why do the bushings need trimming?
These shocks are originally made for the 2003 – 2009 4Runner. When installed on a 1996 – 2002 model, the lower bushings may require slight grinding to seat properly. A direct-fit bushing kit is available.

Are these good for daily driving?
Yes, as long as you have appropriate long-travel coils and extended brake lines. They ride firm and controlled on and off road.
