The Synergy Drag Link and Tie Rod End Replacement Hardware Kit is a must-have service item to have on hand! Each kit is designed to replace the hardware on both your tie rod and drag link tie rod ends. Proper maintenance and services ensure the safety and reliability of your steering system, and replacing corroded hardware is essential during bolt checks and regular services.
Corroded or otherwise compromised hardware can lead to steering vibrations, loose joints, and major headaches during service work or worse – on the road. Having replacements handy to prevent frustrations and downtime restores your peace of mind and leaves the headaches to the less prepared.
Synergy MFG Suspension Systems use a synergistic approach, meaning the combined effect of the components is greater than the sum of the individual parts. The overall performance of the system is the most important factor when we are designing components to work together. Synergy MFG Suspension Systems are complete systems for your vehicle and include all necessary components for the lift height and performance advertised. All of these systems have shock solutions available, whether it be shock relocation brackets to continue using the stock shocks in our Starter System or one of our Synergy MFG tuned shock packages aimed at affordability or performance. Coil springs and shocks are two of the largest determining factors in ride quality and a mismatched system will never perform to its potential. All Synergy MFG tuned shocks are matched to the coil springs and application to provide the best ride and performance possible.
The Jeep JL / JLU Starter System is a coil spring 2-inch lift designed around 37-inch tires for Rubicon models and 35-inch tires for non-Rubicon models (See fender and bump stop spacing recommendations below). This system is designed to be the most capable performance coil spring lift on a budget, with room to upgrade as funds allow. For more complete 2-inch lift systems, see the Stage 1 or Stage 2 systems.
Features:
Multi-rate, progressively wound coil springs increase lift height to 2 inches over stock. Front and rear coil springs are all new and have been designed specifically for the JL platform. Like OEM, the coil springs are unique lengths for each corner of the vehicle to compensate for weight distribution and prevent leaning. Longest in class free length prevents coil springs from coming unseated at full articulation and coil spring block height has been designed around optimal bump stop spacing for the lift height and tire size. Industry first closed and ground lower ends of the front coil springs ensure perfect fitment with the included front lower coil spring isolators. Our coil springs are guaranteed to resist bowing and have a lifetime guarantee against sagging/breakage.
Front and rear adjustable bump stop spacer kits are included to provide the necessary clearance required for larger tires. Bump stop spacing is adjustable from 2-4 inches in 1-inch increments without having to remove any hardware.
Stock rear sway bar links are relocated to the front and new rear sway bar links and drop brackets are added to the rear to allow full articulation of the rear suspension and maintain compatibility with stock wheels.
Front sway bar link relocation brackets paired with the stock rear sway bar links relocated to the front allows full articulation out of the front suspension.
Front and rear lower shock relocation brackets allow the stock shocks to be reused making this a true budget system. As funds allow, shocks can be upgraded at a later date to increase performance and wheel travel.
Suspension components feature an abrasion-resistant powder coat finish for maximum durability and corrosion resistance.
100% bolt on components assure an easy, trouble free installation with the use of basic hand tools.

Notes:
In Order to use factory shocks you need to add Part Number 8819 to the Kit
If using longer travel aftermarket Shocks you have to do one of the following options:-
1) Move OEM rear sway bar links to the front and add 8860-11 to the rear
2) Keep OEM rear sway bar links and add sway bar disconnects to the front
Synergy MFG coil springs lift the vehicle the advertised height over stock based on a fully loaded JL Rubicon. Other JL models will see more lift over stock. These coil springs do not lift taller than advertised. The stock rake based off the Rubicon model is kept to retain its load carrying capacity. If you prefer the vehicle to sit level when unloaded, we recommend adding a small coil spacer to the front (up to 3/4 inch without affecting up travel or causing coil bind, 8017-075).
We always recommend manually disconnecting your sway bar links in any offroad application on both Rubicon and non-Rubicon models
Factory sway bar disconnects do not allow for enough articulation to prevent damage to your track bar mount or electronic disconnect
Synergy MFG’s Starter System is designed to be used with stock length shocks. If upgrading to longer shocks, the suspension will also need to be upgraded to at least Stage 1.
Synergy MFG is not responsible for maintaining finish of products. Environmental factors will affect rate of corrosion and wear for items advertised to be corrosion resistant. We recommend using protective coatings for all items that will see extended outdoor and off road use. We have had great experience with the Fluid Film product and recommend it and similar products for any items susceptible to damage from corrosion. It is great for keeping double adjuster assemblies working like new and protecting shock bodies from the elements.

Wheel and Tire Fitment:
Recommended tire size is limited by fender clearance. With higher clearance fenders or trimmed fenders, larger tires may be fitted. Bump stop spacing should be matched to the collapsed length of the shocks. Mismatched bump stop spacing and shocks will limit the available travel from the system.

These recommendations will result in no or very little rubbing at full articulation and steering. Some stock bumper configurations may require more trimming than others. Less than our recommended bump stop spacing can be run (up to 2 inches of bump stop spacing), but fenders and inner fenders will need to be trimmed for additional clearance.
Backspacing recommendations are based on wheel or wheel and wheel spacer combinations. With stock wheels, adding wheel spacers is equivalent to running 4.5 inches or less of backspacing.

Notes: Recommended aftermarket shock fitment if not running Synergy Tuned Shocks. 1. Rear shock mounts in the highest position (brackets closest to the body of the Jeep). 2. Potential for fuel tank skid plate/rear drive shaft interference in certain JLUs. It is possible to shift the tank over to eliminate this or install an adjustable rear track bar. 3. May not be compatible with stock wheel backspacing.
Synergy MFG Jeep JL / JLU Multi-Rate Rear Lift Coil Springs. Synergy MFG has designed these springs from a clean sheet for the new Wrangler platform. All springs are multi-rate and have been designed to make a great platform even better. These springs are unique to the JL and not shared with the JK or other vehicles. Like OEM, our coil springs are unique lengths to account for load differences on each corner of the vehicle. There are right and left specific springs front and rear to guarantee the vehicle will sit level. Multi-rate design has a soft initial rate which prevents the spring from coming loose in the coil tower, even with long travel shocks. The ride rate is slightly stiffer than the OEM springs to account for additional weight from bumpers, winches, skid plates and gear. Springs are proudly manufactured in the United States of the highest quality steel. Springs are designed to be able to set solid (fully collapse) without overstressing the material and are pre-set from the factory meaning the springs will never sag or set.

Coil Springs retain the stock rake of the vehicle.
Up to .75 inch of front coil spring spacer can be added to level the vehicle using 8017-075 front coil spring spacers.
Min bump stop spacing listed is the minimum amount of bump stop spacing required to prevent the springs from going into coil bind. Do not use less bump stop spacing.
The Jeep JL platform required a new approach to coil springs. We could have re-used existing coil springs already in our portfolio, and they would be close, but close wasn’t good enough. Instead, we designed our JL coil springs from the ground up, to account for all of the differences in this new platform. We have gone through many iterations of spring rates, lengths and designs. Each of these prototypes was tested on road and off, all the way from the Rubicon to Colorado. These springs were not considered done until we were confident we had a part that is measurably better than anything else on the market.
Like most other high-end long travel coil springs on the market, we take advantage of using multiple spring rates to increase the extended travel of the spring. Gone are the days where coil spring retainers are required to keep your springs from falling out on the trail. From our experience, there is a lot of misunderstanding on how multi-rate coil springs work, and why they would be preferred over linear-rate coil springs and vice-versa. In short, it depends on the application and what constraints we are working with. With the new JL platform we were able to design a dual-rate coil spring with a softer initial rate that is effectively collapsed at ride height. This softer initial rate adds to the effective overall length of the spring without adding more lift to the ride height of the Jeep. This allows us to keep a lower ride height and lots of down travel. At ride height the spring rate is effectively linear, which is desirable for tunability (shock valving), and predictability (driving feel). The springs are designed to maintain as much up travel as stock while adding to the available down travel, which increases traction, stability, and safety off road.
Our spring rates were kept just above stock Rubicon spring rates in order to maximize flex and traction off road. We did increase the spring rate slightly (less than 10%) in order to accommodate for the added weight of the typical accessories and armor (winches, bumpers, skid plates, gear, etc.).
Due to variances between Jeeps and how they are used, we designed these springs to match the stock rake of a fully loaded Rubicon. If you want the vehicle to sit level (without the stock rake) when unloaded, our front coil springs will accommodate up to a .75 inch front coil spacer without requiring additional bump stop spacing (8017-075). This means that the ride height and rake of the Jeep can be fine-tuned in order to get the perfect ride height without compromise.
Synergy MFG Jeep JL rear coil springs have very long free (extended) lengths. Due to this fact, we generally recommend that the end user make sure they are using the correct shocks in order to maximize available wheel travel. Our shortest springs will allow for around 12 inches of wheel travel front and rear. Taller springs will allow for more wheel travel. Generally, aftermarket shocks are spec’d short in order to prevent typical coil springs from falling out. We recommend at least one length longer shock for a given lift height (For example: use a 3.5-4 inch lift Fox shock with our 2 inch springs). Make sure the shock mounts and bump stops are setup to prevent the shock from bottoming out before the bump stops do.
