Plus, the 11 screw in freeze plugs ensure you’ll never worry about a coolant leak under the valve cover again. Whether you are sled pulling, drag racing, or just looking for extra power when towing our 5.9L Performance will get you the power you need and are rated up to 1,100hp!

Freedom Series Performance heads Include:

  • Fire ring the cylinder head (All in the head)
  • 11 screw in freeze plugs (eliminates coolant leaks)
  • Hardened, oversized press in valve seats
  • New valve guide liners
  • Manley 1.300 inch stainless valves
  • 105 valve springs and steel retainers
  • Fire ring gasket kit with multi-layer steel gasket and 4.550 inch diameter rings

Notes:

  • Core and crate return required – all paperwork and instructions for return included with the new cylinder head. You are responsible for all return shipping costs of the core.
  • Follow All Installation Instructions; Valve lash required. Back off adjusters on rocker arms or damage will occur to the cylinder head.

All heads are inspected, pressure checked, decked, painted, and ready for installation. Plus, the 11 screw in freeze plugs ensure you’ll never worry about a coolant leak under the valve cover again.

Perfect for a daily driver or heavy duty towing, our Street heads are rated for use up to 700hp. If your engine configuration is exceeding factory RPM limits a Performance Series head with higher valve spring rates is required.

Notes:

  • Head gasket not included. We recommend the use of Cummins 3958645.
  • Core and crate return required – all paperwork and instructions for return included with the new cylinder head. You are responsible for all return shipping costs of the core.
  • Follow all installation instructions; Valve lash required. Back off adjusters on rocker arms or damage will occur to the cylinder head. For all applications over stock horsepower we recommend the use of ARP625 or ARP L19 12mm head studs.

Machined and assembled in Fleece’s state‑of‑the‑art facility, each head is pressure‑checked, decked, painted, and fitted with hardened oversize valve seats, new guide liners, and genuine Cummins springs. Eleven screw‑in freeze plugs eliminate the under‑valve‑cover coolant leaks that plague factory castings, while the 700 hp rating makes this head ideal for daily‑driven and heavy‑tow builds.

Installation Notes

• Use Cummins Grade C or thicker MLS gasket for performance builds.
• Always back off rocker adjusters before initial torque to prevent valve damage.
• Final lash: 0.010″ intake / 0.020″ exhaust (hot).
• For builds above stock RPM or boost, upgrade to Performance‑Series head and higher‑rate valve springs.
