Rancho RS5000X 4-6″ Front and Rear Lift Shocks for 2003-2010 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 4WD

Part Number: 2xRS55317_2xRS55056

Summary: The Rancho RS5000X series provides a comprehensive damping solution for heavy-duty Dodge Ram trucks equipped with 4-6 inches of lift. Utilizing a sophisticated twin-tube design, these shocks are engineered to deliver a smooth, controlled street ride while maintaining the rugged durability required for off-road environments. By balancing internal pressure and fluid flow, the RS5000X effectively minimizes aeration and shock fade during sustained use.

Features

  • Progressive Engagement Valving: A custom-tuned internal shim stack provides increased control during high-velocity impacts to ensure consistent handling on rough terrain.
  • Gas Pressurization: High-pressure nitrogen gas charge provides a reduction in oil foaming and aeration to ensure fade-free performance in demanding conditions.
  • 2.25-inch Body Diameter: An oversized shock body provides increased fluid capacity to ensure cooler operating temperatures during heavy hauling or towing.
  • Nitro-Carburized Piston Rod: A heavy-duty hardened finish provides superior corrosion resistance and seal protection to ensure a long service life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will these shocks lift my Dodge Ram?
No, these shocks do not create lift. They are specifically valved and lengthened to be compatible with trucks already equipped with a 4 to 6-inch lift kit.

Are the shock boots included?
Yes, this set includes the iconic red Rancho protective boots to shield the piston rods from debris and contaminants.

Can I use these on a 2WD model?
No, these specific part numbers are engineered and length-tuned for the 4WD (Four Wheel Drive) Dodge Ram 2500/3500 chassis only.

      Q Will these fit a ram 3500 4x4 Laramie 2014
A These shocks will not lift your truck by themselves - some lift kit options as add-a-leafs or longer coils or maybe spacers will be required for a lift. These shocks are only longer than the stock shocks - designed for use with the existing lift.
