Rancho RS7MT 3.5″ Front Lift Shocks for 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler JL 4WD
Part Number: RS77067
Summary: The Rancho RS7MT series is engineered for high-performance handling on the Jeep Wrangler JL, utilizing a sophisticated monotube design to provide rapid response and consistent damping. These front shocks are specifically configured for 3.5-inch lift heights, ensuring the piston operates within its optimal range for both highway stability and technical trail work. The high-pressure nitrogen gas charge eliminates oil aeration and fade, providing precise control during aggressive off-road maneuvers.
Features
- Monotube Construction: A 2-inch diameter body with a high-pressure nitrogen charge provides immediate damping response to ensure precise vehicle control on uneven terrain.
- Internal Floating Piston: The dedicated dividing piston separates the gas and oil chambers to provide zero aeration and fade resistance to ensure consistent performance during high-speed cycling.
- 14mm Hardened Chrome Rod: A heavy-duty nitro-carburized piston rod provides superior scuff resistance and durability to ensure long-term seal integrity in harsh environments.
- Sealing System: An integrated dirt wiper and multi-lip seal provide a clean operating environment for the internal components to ensure a leak-free service life.

Why Choose This Product?
- Engineering Advantage: The RS7MT utilizes a high-pressure monotube architecture which reacts significantly faster to road inputs than standard twin-tube shocks, making it ideal for the heavier unsprung weight of larger Jeep tires.
- Performance Benefit: Drivers will experience a significant reduction in body roll and “floaty” sensations, resulting in a firm, planted feel on the pavement and predictable articulation off-road.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do these shocks provide the 3.5 inches of lift?
No, these shocks do not create lift. They are specifically configured for use on Jeep Wrangler JL models that already have a 3.5-inch lift kit installed.
Why is an aftermarket driveshaft required?
At a 10.2-inch travel stroke and 3.5-inch lift height, the increased down-travel (droop) can cause the factory front driveshaft to contact the exhaust or bind at the CV joint. An aftermarket small-diameter driveshaft is required for clearance.
Is the RS7MT better than a twin-tube shock for off-roading?
Yes. Because the RS7MT is a monotube shock, it dissipates heat faster and prevents the oil from foaming (aeration), which ensures your suspension doesn’t get “soft” during long periods of use on rough trails.
