Give your first-gen Tacoma the stance, travel, and control it deserves. This kit pairs Bilstein 5100 ride-height–adjustable struts (assembled with ARB/OME coils) up front with your choice of rear lift solution and matching 5100 shocks. Everything arrives ready to bolt in—no spring compressor, no guesswork.

What’s Included

  • Front (pre-assembled coilovers)
    • 2 × Bilstein 5100 struts (F4-BE5-D558-T0) – silver/zinc finish
    • Your selected ARB/OME lift coils (see options below)
    • New KYB top mounts, isolators, dust boots, hardware
  • Rear
    • Your selected rear-lift solution (AALs, block kit, or ARB Dakar leaf packs)
    • 2 × rear shocks – choose Bilstein 5100 1-1.5″, 0-2.5″ Bilstein/RCD 5100, or 2.5-3.5″ Bilstein 5100 (options in dropdown)

Front Coil Choices

  • OME 2880 – ~1.5″ lift, stock front weight
  • OME 2881 – ~2-2.5″ lift, stock front weight
  • Eibach E30-82-006-05-20 – ~2.5″ lift, stock weight, firmer 742 lb/in rate
  • OME 2883 – ~2.5-3″ lift, +200 lb front weight (steel bumper + winch)

Rear Lift Options

  • ReadyLIFT 67-7120 1.5″ add-a-leafs
  • ReadyLIFT 66-5001 1″ block kit
  • ICON 51100 1.5″ add-a-leafs
  • ARB Dakar leaf-spring packs (year-specific, ~2.5″)

Rear Shock Options

  • Bilstein 5100 1-1.5″ (33-247724 / 33-247717)
  • Bilstein/RCD 5100 0-2.5″ (D559 / D560)
  • Bilstein 5100 2.5-3.5″ (33-186542 w/ hardware)

Important Setup Note

Front struts are built on the lowest snap-ring clip. The selected coils supply the advertised lift. Raising the clip will over-lift the truck, stress CVs and ball joints, and void the warranty.

FAQ

Which coil should I pick? Choose 2880 for mild lift on a stock-weight truck; 2881 for a level 2-2.5″; 2883 if you run a heavy bumper + winch; or the Eibach for the firmest stock-weight option.

Can I move the snap ring higher? No—coils already provide lift. Raising the clip risks suspension damage.

Does this include rear springs? Yes, if you select an add-a-leaf or full ARB Dakar pack in the dropdown.

      A Yes. It came with two options. Same length but different size heads. They are a little long but are easy to cut off before installing the bump stop.

      7. I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab 2.7L 4cyl 4WD. I am adding an ARB bull bar with winch and need to upgrade my front struts. I do NOT want to exceed 2 inches lift over stock so as to not cause excess wear to cv axles. Which option front strut would you recommend? Also, do your front strut options take into account difference in weight between 4 cyl and 6 cyl engines on the Tacomas? Thank you for your time.

      A In order to figure out how much lift you need to level please take existing measurements from center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender. Difference between front and rear is how much lift you need to level. Please follow this illustration: https://www.suspensionlifts.com/level.png
