FAQ

Do I need a spring compressor? No. The coilovers arrive fully assembled with new top mounts.

Will the rear shocks lift my truck? No. They are sized and valved to work with up to 1″ rear lift components.

Are these true OE replacements? Yes. Fronts use OE-style coils and the B8 5100 dampers provide an OE-height ride with upgraded control.

Hey! I’m just curious to know what the actual expected lift height would be for clip 3 2.25 and clip 4 2.75 once it settles after a few weeks. I have a 2014 supercrew Lariat with the 5.0 V8. Would like to be sitting at 2ish to 2.5 inches of actual lift and trying to decide which clip will be best. Thanks!

    2. Hey! I’m just curious to know what the actual expected lift height would be for clip 3 2.25 and clip 4 2.75 on the 2014 f150 SKU: B14F150CS. I recently put a rough country 2inch strut lift and it ended up settling to less than 1.5 inches of actual lift so worried about that also happening with clip 3 2.25. Would like to be sitting at 2ish to 2.5 inches of actual lift and trying to decide which clip will be best. Thanks!

A RC is supposed to aff their 2'' to factory height, not sagging coils. We use new springs that have no sagging unless you have an additional constant load. What cab and engine do you have, please?
A Owners report that after installation the truck commonly settles down a bit over days-to-weeks (spring seating, bushing settling, load redistribution). Forum measurements show the 5100 often ends up a few tenths of an inch lower than the initial post-install reading — typical range: 0.2–0.6″ of settling depending on springs and load. Go with clip 3 if you want to end up around ~2.0–2.25″ of real, settled front lift. Clip 4 will usually land you closer to ~2.5–2.75″ initially and will often settle down by a few tenths, possibly still ending up ~2.25–2.5″ — so it’s the riskier choice if your target is a firm 2.0–2.5″.
    4. 2014 ford f150 5.0 stx with payload package. I'd like to know if these are direct replacement. I'm not looking to raise or change the ride height. Are these oem ride height?
