FOX 2.0 Performance IFP 0-2 Lift Shocks 2012-2018 Ford Ranger T6 4WD
Part Number: 983-02-085
Summary: The FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP shocks are engineered to transform the handling of your 2012-2018 Ford Ranger T6 4WD. Utilizing an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design, these shocks provide consistent, race-proven damping control for both comfortable on-road driving and predictable off-road performance. The 2.0-inch metal impacted 6061-T6 aluminum body significantly increases cooling capacity and offers superior rust resistance in demanding environments.
Features
- Internal Floating Piston (IFP): Mono-tube reservoir design separates shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen to ensure the elimination of oil aeration for maximum performance.
- Metal Impacted 6061-T6 Aluminum Body: 2.0-inch diameter aluminum construction provides increased cooling capacity and rust resistance to ensure long-term durability.
- High-Flow Piston Design: Race-developed piston matched with application-specific valving provides predictable ride quality to ensure capability in rough road conditions.
- Hard Chrome Plated Shaft: 5/8-inch heat-treated alloy steel construction provides a robust sealing surface to ensure longevity of the internal components.
- JM92 Advanced Suspension Fluid: High-grade oil provides consistent damping to ensure improved performance at variable temperatures.

Why Choose This Product?
- Engineering Advantage: The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design prevents the mixing of gas and oil, which maintains damping integrity even during rapid cycling.
- Performance Benefit: Drivers experience a significant upgrade in cooling and fade resistance over stock components, resulting in a truck that remains composed on washboards and rough terrain.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the benefit of the IFP design?
The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas, which eliminates oil aeration and allows the valving to perform at its full potential without fading.
Are these shocks resistant to rust?
Yes, the 2.0-inch bodies are made from metal impacted 6061-T6 aluminum which is clear-anodized for a durable finish that resists rust over time.
Does this set include both front and rear shocks?
Yes, this part number includes a full set consisting of 2 front shocks and 2 rear shocks specifically valved for the Ford Ranger T6.
