Questions and answers of the customers
I was told these came with spring perches. My 19 Colorado OEM perches cannot be used because they do not come off OEM struts. I cannot use these without the perches. Please help.
- Spring perches did not come with purchase but they are in picture. Do you guys sell those separately?
- Is this price for two shocks? Also, are there any limitations on the type / size / offset of aftermarket wheels to be installed with these shocks? Thanks.
- These would be for my 2019 Chevy Colorado. Does the 5100 increase travel when you extend to the max 2.5 inches? Does the 5100 cause stress to the suspension without upper control arm replacement? Can you purchase the parts needed to raise the rear exactly the same a the front if the first 2 questions are a "yes" for an answer? The 2019 Colorado is the roughest riding vehicle I have ever owned. I need to smooth out the ride, for less expense that the "king", "fox" price tags. If the 5100"s do cause stress to the suspension, do you sell the upper control arms to match with the 5100"s? Thanks! Dave

Read more answer nowA Diff drop kit is recommended for 4WD trucks for 1.5'' of front lift and more to increase the CV axles life. UCA's are recommended but not required, the benefit of the UCA's is to fix the caster when the vehicle is getting aligned and also helps you a lot with articulation on the front end.
I just received my 5100 shocks ordered due to the above response. There are no spring perches in the boxes. The spring perches(or spring seats) are the black pieces that are both shown loose in the picture, as well as attached to each shock near the bottom. Should I return these?

Read more answer nowA No you use the spring seat off your stock strutA Then why are they shown in the picture, and why was I originally told yes they are in the box? I did not want to take apart my other set of shocks and springs that are on the truck now. I have bought all NEW parts to make a second set(except for spring seats), as I was told they were in the box with 5100 shocks as shown. Very disappointed in this.
