What is the brand of the front springs for the assembled kit. Are they also Bilstein?
-
A Yes you are right Bilstein springs
I have a 2018 4Runner Limited AWD 4.0L with a Selective Transfer Case 4WD High and Low Lock. This vehicle came with the XREAS suspension system, which I am going to remove and replace the shocks with Bilstein Shocks. I'm planning on either Bilstein 6112 coil overs installed and 5106 Rear. I have a 12K winch and 100 lbs steel bumper I may install on the front, so I probably need coils that can handle about 200-250 extra pounds possible. I'm thinking I will either use Bilstein 5106 or 5100 on the rear. Do you have any experience or input you can share with me concerning my above changes? Many guys have made this same change out on You Tube and didn't have any issues and their 4Runners ran out very well after making these changes. If you have any input or suggestios, please let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Douglas

Read more answer nowA P 11:31 AM Thanks for detailed info, front 6112 canbe installed 1 notch higher for the passenger side (but usually the lean is for the driver side) but more often the left/right difference is eliminated because 6112 coils are stronger than stock. here is the kit you need https://www.suspensionlifts.com/shop/toyota-4runner/2010-2019/bilstein-6112-1-5-2-6-medium-duty150-200lbs-assembled-front-coilovers-and-b8-5160-0-2-rear-lift-shocks-for-2010-2022-toyota-4runner/ if you do not carry constant load (such as tire carrier) in the rear - we recommend 36-281824 rear coils option
Do the rear shocks come with dust boots? In the un-assembled kit (SKU: 47-259768_25-227611), it shows dust boots. On this "assembled" kit (SKU: 47-259768_25-227611-ASB) there are no dust boots on the rear shocks. The rear shocks themselves also look different, even though they are both 5160 and have the same part number, the reservoir looks larger on this kit (SKU: 47-259768_25-227611-ASB) . Thanks
