Bilstein B8 6112 Assembled Coilovers 0–2″ Front + 0–1.5″ 5160 Rear Reservoir Shocks – 2016–2023 Toyota Tacoma
Part: 6112Tac16R
Level your 3rd-gen Tacoma with a bolt-on package tuned for daily comfort and weekend trails. The front Bilstein 6112 coilovers arrive fully assembled with new top mounts. Out back, Bilstein 5160 remote-reservoir shocks add heat capacity and wheel travel for consistent control on rough roads.
What’s Included
- Front (assembled): Bilstein B8 6112 kit 47-309975 (replaces 47-234413) – two 60 mm monotube struts, matched cold-wound springs, billet spring seats, new top mounts/hardware
- Rear: Bilstein B8 5160 remote-reservoir shocks 25-311259 – sized for 0–1.5″ rear lift
Why You’ll Like It
- Pre-assembled fronts – faster, safer install; no spring compressor
- Real damping control – 60 mm pistons and digressive valving calm chop and keep steering precise
- Fade resistance – 5160 reservoirs increase oil volume/cooling for long, rough sections
Front 6112 details
- Adjustable lift: target up to ~2.0″ for this kit (6112 hardware allows as much as ~2.75″ depending on trim/weight)
- Construction: 60 mm monotube body & piston, vehicle-specific valving, linear springs
Rear 5160 specs
- Remote reservoir with 360° swivel banjo fitting
- Monotube, digressive valving; direct bolt-on
- Works with 0–1.5″ rear lift (shocks don’t add lift by themselves)

How do the rear shocks achieve a 1.5 inch lift by themselves
-
A The shocks are capable of 1.5” of lift with the help of a leaf spring. Technically, rear shocks have no lift of there own, but instead use the leaf springs for the lift.
